Hearing Aid Trials

I understand that doing something about your hearing difficulties and improving your ability to communicate better again can be a big step for most and that is why I encourage people to at least try out the latest in hearing aid technology and see for yourself if this makes a difference to your life.

Experience has shown me that people who have a hearing loss and “fit in” with the following criteria are most likely to have the greatest success with the use of hearing aids:

  • Recognise themselves (that is they have come for help because they want to, not because they have been pressured to) that they are having difficulties hearing in their day to day lives
  • Actually want to improve their current listening situation and hear better again
  • Have realistic expectations about what a hearing aid can do and that it is an aid and is not going to be better than the human ear
  • Is ready to persist and use the hearing aids daily to allow the auditory cortex (“hearing part of the brain”) to retrain and adapt to hearing all sounds better again

If this sounds like you, then I will offer a no obligation hearing aid trial to any person who is ready to make a difference to how they are hearing. Hearing aid technology today does help people to hear better and there are a lot more people experiencing great success with hearing aids than ever before. Click here to read testimonials.

“When I first started using hearing aids it was like I had my head in a bucket of water. The downside was that the aids amplified everything and were irritating to wear because of this. Also the battery unit at the back of my ears interfered with wearing my spectacles.”

“My new aids fit inside my ears and I don't even realise that I am wearing them (neither do other people). I like the fact that they fit perfectly and have several programs which I can choose from. The best program is called "high noise". I use this program when I am in a social group and it minimises extraneous background sounds so that I can really hear what people are saying to me.”
